A blog is a “web log,” or a “journal.” They
are used for anything from personal random thoughts and rants to
professional and business ideas....
There are almost as many strategies and
reasons for having a blog as there are bloggers in the world.
This is by no means an exhaustive list. As a matter of fact, it
will probably be obsolete by the time this is posted. |

Most business managers in technology industries
would agree that customer support is critical to their success.
From the customer's perspective, the most important issue is
getting their problem resolved. From a business perspective, you
need to meet the customer's expectations in order to keep them
happy.
A few years ago, actually it is measured in decades, when I
was in college learning to be a computer programmer, there was a
popular phrase: “Garbage in, Garbage out.” It is a very simple
philosophy: the quality of the data you get from a program
correlates directly to the quality of the data that is input
into the system. On the surface it seems straight forward..
Attitude
is Everything (So watch out)
“Attitude is everything” is a phrase I have heard for many
years. I even use a coffee cup that has it written on it so that
I see it constantly everyday. Whenever anyone talks about
attitude, they refer to it from the positive
standpoint....(but)..
Don't Impersonalize the
Personal
Parts
1 & 2
If you are
using a Contact Manager or a CRM application to send e-mails or
letters to groups of people, there is a detail you need to pay
close attention to.
360 degree view
of your customer
What does
having a 360 degree view of your customer, as it relates to CRM,
actually mean? The meaning is basically the same no matter who you talk
to; the type and value of the data can be drastically different.
Who is Driving the Ship?
Rolling out a CRM initiative should be a simple task, right?
Well, that depends on who is actually driving it, if anyone at
all. Making sure the person driving the initiate understands the
strategy and process goes a long way toward insuring a
successful implementation.
Foundation
for Success.
What is the absolute foundation for success in
today's economy?
It may not be what you
think it is. Just like a tall building needs a strong
foundation, so does a successful business, and it is not what it
was 5-10 years ago.
Loss-Leader: Is it a good idea or not?
The loss-leader has been around as long there have been
sales promotions. Sometimes they work and other times they have
a disastrous effect.
You’re only as strongly
as the weakest link.
Are your marketing efforts being hampered by your
fellow employees actions toward your customers? Marketing is any
contact that anyone with your organization has with your
customer. If other people in you organization have ANY contact
with your customer then you need to read this article.
